She Glows Africa Magazine, a local platform that celebrates the brilliance and power of African women, has moved in to create space and opportunities for people in Zimbabwe and Zambia taking into cognisant their cultural background.

Late last year She Glows Africa Magazine hosted prominent Zambian media personality Mutale Mwanza who has expressed joy over her recent visit to Zimbabwe.

Mwanza said the visit to Zimbabwe had potential to create more opportunities for female media personalities from both sides of the Zambezi River.

She Glows Africa Magazine in partnership with Concord For Young Women in Business hosted a dinner for the Zambian media personality at the Rainbow Towers Hotel.

Just recently, She Glows Africa Magazine hosted another cultural exchange programme that was meant to highlight the shared cultural heritage and historical connections between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

“In today’s interconnected world, fostering collaborations among female African influencers has become more crucial than ever,” said She Glows Africa Magazine editor-in-chief Alice Tagwira.

“We are witnessing a transformative era where women are breaking barriers, shattering glass ceilings, and becoming influential change-makers in their respective fields.

“By bringing together these remarkable women from Zambia and Zimbabwe, we aim to create a powerful network of voices that will amplify each other’s impact, inspire creativity, and drive meaningful change across borders.”

Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture deputy minister Emily Jesaya said the two countries share a lot in common, culturally.

“Zambia and Zimbabwe share a rich heritage, characterized by diverse traditions, language, music, dance, and visual arts,” she said.

“It is through events like this banquet that we can showcase the beauty of our respective cultures while forging new connections and collaborations.

“By celebrating our similarities and embracing our differences, we strengthen the bonds of friendship between our nations.”

Tagwira said She Glows Africa Magazine also aims to highlight success stories and showcase African women who would have overcome challenges to achieve remarkable accomplishments.
