My Dear People

The return of Nero to the political arena after a two year hiatus has created quite a stir.

The bootlickers and hangers on of the dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion have come out in full force to discredit  Nero’s comeback.

The varakashi  who are the regime’s attack dogs on social media, have written volumes of downright twaddle to dismiss the impact of Chikomana’s return to the political dance floor.

The reaction of the regime shows how they view the youthful opposition leader as the main threat to its ruinous rule that has brought about unprecedented levels of poverty and has forced the majority of the country’s citizens into vending.

It is telling that there was no such  reaction when the likes of Welshman and Timba formed their own factions of the Citizens’ Coalition for Change after Nero quit the party as a result of the disgraceful sabotage of the opposition outfit  by the buffoon Tshabangu with the help of the regime.

Given that Welshman gained more prominence for fictitious  legal submissions generated by artificial intelligence than anything he did as leader of the faction and that Timba’s leadership was reduced to making banal statements, it is easy to see why the formation of these factions were deemed a non-event by the Scarfmore regime.

This is moreso after the two leaders failed dismally to field candidates in several by-elections held countrywide emphasising their irrelevance and making their shrill cries for  a share of the political parties funding all the more shameful.

It will be interesting to see how Nero will fare with his new political movement, which I hope  this time will be less ambiguous and have at least a constitution of some kind.

What amused me was Nero’s rejection of the Movement for Democratic Change leader Dougie’s olive branch, which has shrivelled, due to damaging electoral defeats in a clear rejection by Zimbabweans.

“Only a dog feeds on its vomit as its meal. We are not dogs,” was Nero’s cutting response to the weakened outstretched hand of  reconciliation of Dougie and co. Nero is well and truly back

Munopengaaa!!!

The Scarfmore regime has been celebrating the reduction of the country’s annual inflation to a single digit.

This is after the regime changed the calculation method of  the country’s inflation  after the nutty professor had at one time even banned the announcement of inflation figures as it skyrocketed to embarrassing levels.

The latest inflation numbers have been widely recieved with a pinch of salt  as it is based on the funny money called Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG).

Despite it being launched as a game changer, it has been widely rejected in various parts of the country including in Bulawayo and Masvingo who have preferred to use the South African rand for small change.

To celebrate single inflation digit based on a quasi-currency that cannot be used to buy fuel or secure a passport shows exposes the ineptness of this so called second repubric.

It is deception on steroids for the nutty professor to encourage Zimbabweans to have confidence in and accept the funny money whilst the regime rejects the currency for payment for fuel and passports.

The single digit inflation comes on the back of a trail of distressed construction companies who have not been paid by the regime for services it has rendered resulting in massive job losses amid the threat of bankruptcy.

Probably afraid of runaway inflation of the funny money, the regime has also failed to pay miners export earnings leaving them in the lurch.

The attainment of a single digit inflation on the back of such carnage is a pyrrhic victory for the dispensation of poverty , darkness and confusion.

Such is the bizarre nature of Pfeee economics!!!

Munopengaaa!!!

I spluttered in my tea when I read that the nutty professor has revealed plans to build a new modern mixed use stadium.

This Scarfmore regime  is a real circus.  The country does not even have one stadium which has been approved to host games for the national team which resulted in the men’s national team playing a world cup qualifier using South Africa as a home base against South Africa.

It is against this background that this incompetent regime is talking of building an entirely new stadium  It beggars belief that without an ounce of shame, it prattles on about a new stadium when they have not even managed to put together a stadium worthy of hosting international soccer matches.

That they fail to complete the renovation of a single stadium for international matches and yet splurge on buying state of the art vehicles for chiefs is a monument to the warped governance of the Scarfmore regime.

For all his faults, Gushungo would have never countenanced such a shambolic state of affairs in which the country is forced to play home matches in foreign lands.

It just goes to show how the country has become a banana republic ever since the Scarfed One was propelled into power on the back of guns and tanks.
