In an era where education is increasingly measured by a learner's ability to excel both inside and outside the classroom, Lady Enereta International Schools is emerging as one of Zimbabwe's fast-rising centres of academic, sporting and leadership excellence.
Located in Bindura, the international boarding school has built a reputation for producing well-rounded learners equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to thrive in a rapidly changing global environment.
Established during the challenging Covid-19 period, the school was founded with a vision of providing international-standard education while maintaining affordability for families seeking quality learning opportunities for their children.
Today, that vision is translating into measurable success.
Strong academic performance
Lady Enereta continues to record impressive academic results under the internationally recognised Cambridge Curriculum, achieving a 92.8 percent Cambridge O-Level pass rate.
School authorities attribute the achievement to a combination of qualified teaching staff, strong academic support systems, personalised learning approaches and a culture of discipline and excellence.
Beyond examination results, the institution focuses on developing critical thinkers, problem solvers and future leaders capable of competing at universities and workplaces around the world.
Provincial hockey recognition
The school's commitment to holistic education was recently highlighted through notable achievements in sport.
On May 29, Lady Enereta learners participated in provincial hockey trials held at Peterhouse School in Marondera, competing alongside students from some of Zimbabwe's leading schools, including Peterhouse, Lomagundi College and Watershed College.
The learners delivered impressive performances, resulting in three students earning selection to represent Mashonaland Central province.
Two learners were selected for the Under-16 provincial hockey team, while one secured a place in the Under-18 provincial hockey team.
The athletes will now compete against players from other provinces as they seek selection into Zimbabwe's national teams.
The achievement underscores the school’s growing reputation in sport and demonstrates its ability to nurture talent capable of competing alongside students from some of the country's most established institutions.
Holistic education approach
As a mixed boarding school, Lady Enereta offers learners a comprehensive educational experience that extends beyond academics.
Students have access to a range of sporting disciplines, including hockey, cricket and athletics, while also benefiting from leadership development programmes, career guidance, educational tours and international exposure opportunities.
The school also promotes bilingual communication through English and French, helping learners develop language skills that prepare them for regional and global opportunities.
Student welfare a priority
School management places significant emphasis on student welfare, providing modern boarding facilities, nutritious meals, health and wellness support, laundry services and professional cleaning services.
The structured support system is designed to create a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment that allows learners to focus fully on their academic and personal development.
Affordable international education
Despite offering international-standard education and boarding facilities, Lady Enereta continues to position itself as an affordable option for many families.
Boarding fees are pegged at US$1 500 per term, covering tuition, accommodation, meals, sporting opportunities, leadership development programmes and student welfare services.
Looking ahead
From its establishment during the pandemic to its growing record of academic and sporting achievements, Lady Enereta International Schools continues to make its mark on Zimbabwe's educational landscape.
The recent provincial hockey selections add to a growing list of accomplishments that reflect the institution's commitment to producing confident, disciplined and globally competitive young people.
As the school continues to expand, its mission remains unchanged: to provide quality education that equips learners not only for examinations, but for leadership, innovation and success in life.
For Lady Enereta learners, excellence is not simply an achievement—it is a culture.
