The top four winners at the Mashonaland Junior Golf Association February medal, played at Royal Harare, all managed to score under 80. Ayanda Ndlovu continued her remarkable form with another eagle on the sixth hole, making it two eagles in as many games.
Casey Chabveka shot a par 72, just two strokes better than his playing partner, Nathaniel Zidya.
The intense competition among the 15–18-year-old boys and girls pushed players to deliver their Nbest results. This age group collectively recorded 23 birdies, with four players narrowly missing out on a hole-in-one.
In the boys’ category, Aryaan Yousuf brought his best game to claim first place, while Zarina
Makwarimba emerged victorious in the girls’ section.
In the 11–14 girls’ category, Ruvarashe Makuwatsine continues to be a player to watch as she aims to break the 80-score barrier.
