United STATES-BASED Zimbabwean author Marjory Chikoore’s dream is to write 100 books and as many magazines before she hangs the pen.

The 60-year-old motivational writer who has so far penned 15 books and 14 magazines told NewsDay Life & Style that she has the energy to push through her dream.

“My dream of writing 100 books and 100 magazines feels insurmountable, but by faith, I believe all is possible as Paul says, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Chikoore noted.

The award-winning author said there was something about dreams and one’s future that made people better than before.

“Growing up in a family of nine siblings with a single mother was not easy after our father died. I grew up in an environment of educated family members. My grandparents from both my mother and father’s side were United Methodist pastors,” she recalled.

“I struggled with my education, but because of persistence and determination I am a holder of five degrees namely: Bachelor of Education in Administration, Planning and Policy Studies, Master of Social Work, Master of Divinity, Master of Business Administration and a doctorate in Psycho Analytical Psychotherapy.”
