CASTLE Lager Premier Soccer League returnees Bulawayo Chiefs are raring to go as they look to pick their first set of three points when they clash with Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium tomorrow.
Coach John Nyikadzino says it won’t be easy against giants Highlanders and will throw everything at Bosso to get the valuable three points.
“We will take it game by game. We are looking forward to the game against Highlanders. Like I said, we know it won’t be easy, but we will try by all means to give our all and get something from that game,” he said.
“But I know it won’t be easy. The target is to ensure that we consolidate our position in the PSL. So we know what is expected of us.
“The players know what is expected of them. Like I’ve said before, in terms of the support, very much happy, very much pleased. We are waiting for the game.”
Nyikadzino has quickly set his targets for the season.

“Any number that doesn’t get the team relegated and we are comfortable with that.
“We are a newly promoted side, we don’t have to be too ambitious. Obviously, any coach wants to be number one, but we know it’s not that easy.
“Our target is to ensure that we stay in the PSL. We know we are from Division One, those are different levels, Division One and PSL.
“It won’t be easy, but we are confident [that] we [will] stay in the PSL coming from the 26 PSL system.”
