CHICKEN Inn continue to honour their legends and former players by integrating them into the club’s technical structures, with the latest being Tafadzwa Kutinyu, drafted into the senior team as a performance analyst.
Kutinyu, a former GameCocks player, turned out for Tanzanian side Singida.
Following a career-ending injury, he transitioned into performance and data analysis in 2024 — a role he now takes up at Chicken Inn.
Guide Goddard, who served as second assistant coach to Joey Antipas last season, has been appointed head coach of the club’s developmental side, which competes in the Zifa Bulawayo Province Division Two League.
A former Chicken Inn captain, Goddard will be assisted by ex-club defender Ben Nyahunzvi and former skipper Danny “Deco” Phiri.
Chicken Inn secretary-general Tavengwa Hara said the club is still making structural adjustments to align with Fifa club licensing requirements, while remaining committed to recognising loyalty and service.

“These players have been loyal to the club and deserve to be rewarded,” Hara said.
“They are young and need to be developed and groomed in their capacities.
“They remain the backbone of our future ambitions and want to continue the legacy of the team.”
Former club captain Clemence Matawu has been appointed club administrator.
Ahead of the new season, Chicken Inn roped in championship-winning coach Tonderai Ndiraya as head coach, assisted by Naison Machekela and Fortune “Fokoza” Ncube.
Zvanai Kawadza has been appointed goalkeepers’ coach, replacing Energy Murambadoro.
Other appointments include Lennon Gwara (masseur), Webster Chadzamire (physiotherapist), Tendai Chituwa (conditioning coach) and Tatenda Munyaradzi (data analyst and team manager).
