BULAWAYO, Aug. 4 (Southern Eye Live) - Police in Bulawayo have launched a manhunt for two suspects linked to a cocktail of dangerous drugs recovered from a house in Newton West.
In a statement, police said following a tip off they raided a house along Oragon Road on August 2， 2026 and recovered 36 cobs of dagga weighing approximately 30kg, 58 boxes of Broncleer cough syrup with 50 x 100ml bottles each, and 447 loose 100ml bottles of Broncleer cough syrup.
The suspects allegedly fled from the scene, abandoning a white Honda Vezel, registration number AHG 5315, which has since been impounded by the police.
The bust comes amid a renewed crackdown by CID Drugs and Narcotics teams following a surge in drug and substance cases.
