BULAWAYO, Jul 16 (Southern Eye Live) -Two Bulawayo men were recently sentenced to 20 years in prison by the High Court in Hwange over the murder of a Nyamandlovu farmer.
Ndabezinhle Sithole (28) and Brian Matinyadze (35), were convicted of killing Anold Moyo (27), of Harlesden Farm in Nyamandlovu.
According to court records, on July 31, 2021, Moyo was found dead inside his kitchen hut with multiple stab wounds all over his body.
His wife, Sitshengisiwe told the police that she had last seen Moyo in the company of people unknown to her.
However, investigations established that Sitshengisiwe was the one who had invited Sithole and Matinyadze to their farm Nyamandlovu to assist with farming activities.
Police investigations later linked the two offenders to the murder in which they implicated Sitshengisiwe.
During investigations, police recovered an axe head and a kitchen knife used in committing the crime, as well as the deceased’s stolen mobile phone and tennis shoes.
Sitshengisiwe later committed suicide before being questioned over the matter.
