Chicken Inn goalkeeper Donovan Bernard’s record of 20 clean sheets in a single PSL season, set during the 2024 campaign when he won the Golden Glove award, is now under serious threat.
The record is being chased by Scottland goalie Nelson Chadya, who has already kept 17 clean sheets in just 21 league matches for Scottland this season.
Chadya now needs only three more clean sheets to equal Bernard’s record and four to establish a new league record, with 13 matches still remaining in the 2026 PSL season.
Given Scottland’s impressive defensive form, the milestone appears well within Chadya’s reach.
The backline of Kevin Moyo, Peter Muduhwa, Issaka Mohammed and Kwake Thwala has been one of the league’s most solid defense, providing the goalkeeper with excellent protection.
Scottland’s defensive dominance is seen in their recent results, having won each of their last eight league matches without conceding a single goal.
