A 33-year-old man from Ntabazinduna was fatally stabbed following a dispute during a snooker game.
Police identified the suspect as Emanuel Phiri (24) who allegedly stabbed Fortune Hadebe (33) at Mzenda Business Centre in Thokozani village on April 10.
According to police, the late Hadebe sustained a deep cut on his right hand during the altercation.
“He initially sought medical attention at Ntabazinduna Clinic and was later referred to United Bulawayo Hospitals for further treatment,” police said.
However, the victim reportedly succumbed to his injuries on April 11 before reaching the hospital.
The suspect is now in police custody, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
