As a mechanic, husband and father of three, balancing personal life with passion is both challenging and rewarding.

“Time is precious, and every note I play is a reminder of the balance between family, work, and passion,” he added.

“Finding harmony between my responsibilities and my dreams has taught me resilience.”

His breakthrough hit, Utshwala Ngiyabuthanda, has captured fans across Zimbabwe.

The feel-good, danceable track invites listeners to relax, laugh and celebrate life.

“It’s a milestone, making waves on airplay, live stages and online,” Scarrah said.

“It’s meant to make people relax, dance, laugh and spread positivity.”

Now he is working on a maskandi EP alongside his afro-fusion tracks, promising lively rhythms and relatable lyrics.

“I sing maskandi separately from afro-fusion, but both are expressions of my culture and my life experiences,” he said.

Scarrah has also received a CITE Award for “Voices for Change,” recognising his musical talent and community influence.

From church choir to packed stages, the father, husband and mechanic proves you can honour tradition, embrace modernity and stay true to yourself.
