HubForty Entertainment (PBC), trading as LOL Entertainment Zimbabwe, has announced the fifth edition of the KwaNtuthu Comedy Festival, built around the theme Give Me 5 – High 5.
The milestone will mark five years of laughter, creativity, and community engagement, cementing the festival’s status as a nationally recognised cultural platform.
This year’s programme will run from October 28 to November 1, promising high-energy comedy, interactive experiences, and a strong focus on youth, education, and the future of Zimbabwean and African comedy.
Festival director Dumisani “MaForty” Ndlovu said the event has grown into a nationally recognised cultural platform.
“The theme is more than a slogan; it is the blueprint for delivery,” Ndlovu said in a statement.
“It signals high-energy programming, peak-quality comedy, and hands-on audience participation—executed through interactive formats, youth-forward digital engagement, and inclusive content that welcomes families, corporates, and regional audiences alike.”

Speaking about the five day event, Ndlovu said each day is intentionally curated to reflect the journey and future of the festival.
“This structure reinforces KwaNtuthu’s identity as a festival that both entertains and educates—using comedy as a tool for skills development, cultural exchange, and creative growth,” he said.
The festival’s mission remains to celebrate the power of laughter and creativity by bringing people together and delivering memorable experiences that uplift and inspire.
Its vision is to position KwaNtuthu as Zimbabwe’s premier comedy event—celebrating five editions of excellence while empowering comedians and showcasing African comedy to the world.
Through theatre and short-film platforms, KwaNtuthu has become a fixture on the school calendars of participating institutions, providing students with real stages, real audiences, and real pathways into the creative industries.
Ndlovu said the fifth edition will strengthen that commitment by placing edutainment at the heart of the programme.
