Ten housemates are up for possible eviction next Sunday in Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, setting the stage for a tense live show.

Those facing the chop are Dene Jones, Didi, Ilano, King Wanda, Liema, Mashel, Mmeli, Que, Thandeka and Ramona, all of whom now rely on viewers’ votes to remain in the house.

Last Sunday’s live eviction saw Lawredo and Ofentse become the first contestants to exit the competition, just two weeks after the show’s premiere.

Their departure stunned fans, particularly as Ofentse was the season’s first Head of House, while Lawredo was the first housemate to enter the Big Brother house.

Reflecting on his eviction, Lawredo remained upbeat.

“I feel like a winner. I’ve been hustling all my life, especially on TV. I’ve never been a main character; I’ve always been an extra. I’ve been on a lot of shows. I made it to the house. For me, I’ve won something whereby I got my dreams fulfilled, so this is not a loss; it’s a win for me.”

He also admitted the pressures of the game had taken a toll.

“When you play a good guy but you’re a villain, it gets confusing. I feel bad because there are people I still want to talk to in there.”

Lawredo and Ofentse’s fate was sealed following nominations that placed Que, Ofentse, Tumi the Barber, Neliswa, Lawredo and The Don on the chopping block, with the public vote ultimately deciding the first evictions of the season.

The early exits have reset the competition, serving as a reminder to the remaining housemates that every move, strategy and conversation counts.

With the theme BBMzansi: Bazozwa, the game has officially shifted into a higher gear.

As the days progress, relationships and boundaries have become a talking point in the house.

Ashay made it clear that romance is not on his agenda, shutting down any shipping attempts, while Didi firmly drew the line with Que, reminding him she is in a relationship outside the house and needs her space.

With eviction night looming, tension is rising — and anything can happen.
