HARARE,Jul.18(NewsDay Live) - CBZ Bank has been named Best Bank in Zimbabwe at the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, one of the world’s most respected banking awards that recognises outstanding performance, innovation and leadership in the global financial services sector.
The award was presented during the official Euromoney Awards for Excellence ceremony held in London, United Kingdom, on Wednesday.
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence, organised annually by international financial publication Euromoney, are regarded as among the banking industry’s highest honours. The awards recognise financial institutions from across the world that have demonstrated excellence in areas such as financial performance, innovation, digital transformation, customer service, corporate governance and their contribution to economic development. Winning a Euromoney Award places banks among the leading financial institutions globally and serves as an international benchmark of excellence.
Announcing the achievement in a statement, CBZ Holdings said the accolade reflected the bank’s continued leadership in Zimbabwe’s banking sector.
