The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated National Education Summit Zimbabwe 2026 Golf Tournament, which is expected to bring together education leaders, corporates, sponsors, and golf enthusiasts at Bulawayo Golf Club on May 30.

The tournament, which will serve as the closing highlight of NESZ 2026, is being positioned as more than just a sporting event, with organisers promising a premium networking platform aimed at strengthening partnerships within Zimbabwe’s education sector.

Participants are expected to compete in a relaxed but competitive golfing atmosphere while creating opportunities for collaboration, business engagement, and educational development.

Action Empowerment Zimbabwe (AEZ), organisers, said the event presents corporates and stakeholders with an opportunity to support education initiatives through sponsorships, branding partnerships, and team participation.

“The NESZ golf tournament is about bringing people together through sport while advancing conversations around education, investment, and opportunity,” said Alson Darikayi, AEZ president.

The event is expected to attract golfers from across the country, including business executives, educators, policymakers, and sports enthusiasts, further cementing golf’s growing role as a networking sport in Zimbabwe.

In addition to the sporting action on the greens, companies and organisations will also have opportunities to showcase their brands and connect with influential stakeholders attending the summit.

The tournament will take place at the historic Bulawayo Golf Club, one of Zimbabwe’s premier golfing venues known for hosting major local competitions.

Team entries, sponsorship packages, and branding opportunities are currently open ahead of the event.
