Police spokesperson assistant commissioner Paul Nyathi yesterday said it was not true that CCC officials were being targeted for arrests on flimsy charges.

Paul Nyathi yesterday said Pharoah Moyo Chidyanavarungu (27) and David Mkosana (30) were “shot on the legs after they fled the scene in different directions”.

Police spokesperson assistant commissioner Paul Nyathi said 12 people were injured in the accident, which occurred at around 1:30pm at the 35km peg.
