The White Horse Inn, one of the leading hotels in the Eastern Highlands, will tomorrow host a Valentine’s Day dinner in Vumba just outside Mutare.

Apart from the dinner, the refurbished hotel has rolled out Valentine’s Day specials throughout the week.

The specials begin today and ends next weekend.

White Horse Inn director Frank Marembo said the hotel was geared to host the Valentine’s Day dinner, including a potpourri of activities to venerate the week of love.

“It is that time of the year again where lovers and couples can spent memorable times together,” Marembo told Standard Style.

“As White Horse Inn, we are inviting lovers to come for a dinner ceremony and we are just saying treat your Valentine to a romantic dinner.”

He said the dinner and a series of other events to mark Valentine’s Day are being held in a in a tranquil set up.

“Lovers who will spend the Valentine’s Day at the White Horse Inn will have a feel of the lavish accommodation and experience intimate moments in some rolling lawn amidst the lush surroundings,” Marembo said.

Mutare jazz crooner Steve Chikoti will seranade guests with his sing-along tracks, plucked off his albums such as Wega and Nzendo (Journey).

White Horse Inn, situated 15km outside Mutare, has over the years fulfilled every aspect of a high calibre four-star hotel, based on international standards.

Marembo assured that the staff would go out of their way to get things done and do not compromise when it comes to Covid-19 control measures, following the World Health Organisation stipulated rules.

White Horse Inn has some of the optimum rooms, adorned in sinuous colours to complement the fabulous outdoor vegetation.

The hotel is surrounded with rare species of trees and plants compounded by terraced gardens that attract a variety of bird life, magnificent footpaths, natural streams, as well as the Vumba’s rare Samango monkeys.
