UNITED KINGDOM-BASED gospel musician Olinda Marowa says her latest offering titled I Rise Again seeks to acknowledge and honour Christ.

The EP, which was launched virtually last week, carries three songs that are centred on her personal relationship with God.

“This project was inspired by the love I have for Christ, acknowledging his grace over my life and realising that before I was complaining and crying a lot to God, but I decided to just praise and worship him without asking anything, telling Him who He is, how mighty He is, how much I love Him with all my heart and that He is at the centre of it all,” Marowa said.

“Often times as Christians we tell God about how big our problems are and it is also important to tell our problems how big and mighty our God is. I also understood it is my season of rising again nomatter how much I might have fallen.”

Marowa said every track was unique and special as they all focused on exaltation of the Lord.

“I Rise Again, which carries three songs contains an overall message which is about exaltation of the Lord,” she said.

“Telling him that he is the air that we breathe, without him we go astray, without him we are lost, we are incomplete and we are nothing.

“Jesus is at the centre of it all. I also spoke about how mighty our God is and that I love him with all my heart as I reminisce where he has taken me from.

“I have been complaining, wailing and expressing more of the pain I have gone through in my life but this time around I am rejoicing and being grateful to God as I am excited about this new offering.”

The EP has tracks called I Love You Lord, Mighty God and Jesus at the Centre.
