After months of anticipation, whispered studio updates, and delayed release promises, Bhila — born Patriarch Manyabi — has finally opened the doors to his deeply emotional new single, Njalo Njalo.
The powerful collaboration features South African choirs Rossertenville and Utsheketshaogezayo, and is already shaping up to be one of the most heartfelt African love songs of the year.
Fans woke up to a song drenched in romance, spiritual depth, and rich African instrumentation, a blend that showcases Bhila’s vocal maturity and announces a bold new chapter in his artistic journey.
More than just a soundtrack for lovers, Njalo Njalo tells a story of endurance: the kind of love that survives storms, heartbreak, distance, and hardship, yet still chooses to remain standing.
“Njalo Njalo represents unending happiness. It acknowledges that marriage can have difficult moments, but we overcome them and keep going. It is, in essence, a prayer,” said Bhila.
Built on warm acoustic melodies and soulful harmonies, the song carries a mature African sound that feels both intimate and universal.
Bhila teamed up with Mthabisi from Band Fusion on acoustic guitar, Master H on bass guitar, and acclaimed engineer Godwin Smalls Ndlovu on mixing and mastering.
The road to release was not smooth.
The single was originally expected in February before financial setbacks caused delays.
Released on May 19, Bhila says it happened by divine timing.
“Nothing can stop a good thing,” he said.
If early reactions are any guide, Njalo Njalo may transform Bhila from a promising voice into a household name.
