FOUR suspects linked to a string of at least 10 unlawful entry and theft cases across Masvingo city are behind bars with police recovering property valued at more than US$10 000.

Peace Mandizvidza (32), Edward Sibanda (27), Tapiwa Tagwirei (27), and Khumbulani Sibanda (25) were apprehended following investigations into a series of break-ins that occurred between December 2025 and April 2026.

The gang allegedly targeted residential homes while owners were away, making off with household goods including television sets, refrigerators, blankets, and other valuables.

Total stolen property is estimated at US$14 330.

Police have since recovered items worth US$10 305, among them two television sets, a deep freezer, and several blankets.

Authorities confirmed that the four suspects have now been linked to all 10 reported cases of unlawful entry and theft in and around the city.
