IF there is one department that is arguably giving Highlanders new head coach Benjani Mwaruwari sleepless nights, it is the goalkeeping position.

With veteran Ariel Sibanda likely to get limited minutes and newly signed Pride Zendera expected to serve as second choice, while it remains unclear whether Aaron “Arusha” Ngwenya will be roped in, the question is: who is Mwaruwari likely to turn to?

Could it be Reward Muza?  The Bosso juniors graduate was trusted by the former Manchester City and Portsmouth striker to guard the posts against arch-rivals Dynamos over the weekend.

Muza’s already known potential was evident again on Sunday as he cut out crosses, commanded his defence and showed the footwork required of a modern goalkeeper.

Popularly known as Rosto in football circles, Muza has spent most of his career as a second or third choice goalkeeper at Amahlolanyama.

He is yet to be given enough opportunities to command the posts, with reports suggesting he has at times been distracted by off-field issues.
