The Council for Churches in Africa (CCA) has urged Zimbabwean citizens to turn towards the light of a shared destiny in support of Vision 2030.
The CCA issued this call in a statement marking Unity Day.
In a Unity Day message, CCA leader Rocky Moyo called for peace as the foundation of all progress to ensure Zimbabwe becomes a middle-income economy by 2030.
"The CCA expresses strong theological and spiritual alignment with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030," Moyo said.
"This support is rooted in a belief that the nation's leadership is chosen by God, with churches actively encouraging their congregations to support the government's developmental agenda and see it as a path to national prosperity."
He framed unity as a sacred duty.

"This commitment to unity remains a beacon of hope, not only for Zimbabwe but for our entire continent," Moyo said.
"As a body rooted in Christian values of love, peace, and justice, we believe that true unity is a sacred gift and a divine imperative.
"It is the fertile ground from which lasting peace, sustainable development, and shared prosperity must grow."
The CCA is a continental ecumenical body representing apostolic, Zionist, and Pentecostal churches across Africa.
It focuses on fostering fellowship, empowering indigenous churches, advocating for social justice, and promoting spiritual enrichment.
“True unity is not a mere historical memory; it is a living, breathing commitment we must renew daily. Our strength lies not in uniformity, but in our harmonious diversity," he said.
"As a body rooted in Christian values of love, peace, and justice, we believe that true unity is a sacred gift and a divine imperative. It is the fertile ground from which lasting peace, sustainable development, and shared prosperity must grow."
