Lovemore Madhuku, leader of the National Constitutional Assembly (NCA), was allegedly attacked at his offices in the capital this morning.
Madhuku is currently receiving medical attention at a local clinic in Harare.
NCA spokesperson Madock Chivasa confirmed the incident to NewsDay.
“We were holding a meeting this morning when police rounded up and attacked our members, including our leader Professor Madhuku. He has been injured,” Chivasa said.
