The artiste has been hogging the limelight with songs such as Asambeni, Ginimbi and Umjolo the pandemic, among others.

“I have gone back to fuse my Afro-beat, dance music and a live feel to the music. The process of upgrading my music is going well and l could say I have brought critics to my space making it all about the people, not only my judgment when composing music.

“I am getting a good response to the music, especially from ladies. They love the upgrade, they appreciate the sound and I’m ready to spread it to the next level,” Mzoe7 told Standard Style.

The musician feels he is in the right direction, with a good reception and the Mzoe7 brand has improved.

“I am learning every day. I have always loved Afro-beats and did Afro-beat during my early career days. I realised people missed that from me because it comes out easy," he said.

“My music upgrade has also improved Mzoe7 as a brand because it compliments everything from performance to dress code and quality. “

Speaking about his upcoming EP,  Mzoe7 said it is inspired by life and revolves around themes of love, relationships and appreciation.

“The EP should be out on April 1, it’s going to be called Seven. Seven is the number of perfection, the number of completeness and I am presenting a complete artiste to my fans when the EP drops," he said.

“Seewelltone, Toohigh, Wildfire DJ and Shekinah have been some of the guys who have helped so much.”
