Bosso cry foul

HIGHLANDERS coach Baltemar Brito has said the decision to cancel the blockbuster Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) tie against Dynamos at short notice has the net effect of protecting Dynamos, who are dogged by injuries and had little time to prepare.

Brito told the NewsDay Sport that Dynamos had less time to prepare for the league match which was due to be played tomorrow after the draw against Cranborne Bullets on Easter Monday, while his side had more time after playing their fourth game of the season on Good Friday.

The league match was cancelled at the behest of the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) to allow the two teams to fight for the Independence Day Trophy final at Pfura Stadium in Mount Darwin in Mashonaland Central province on Tuesday next week.
