WARRIORS’ striker Tendai Ndoro scored the winning spot-kick in his debut for Orlando Pirates as the Buccaneers clinched their fourth Carling Black Label Cup beating Kaizer Chiefs 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Ndoro came in as a substitute in his maiden appearance for Pirates after leaving Mpumalanga Black Aces at the end of the 2014-15 Absa Premier Soccer League season.
He replaced Thamsanqa Gabuza in the 32nd minute and his powerful shot in the 58th minute was saved by Amakhosi goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse.
The match had ended 1-1 in regulation time with Sifiso Myeni opening the floodgates for Pirates in the 20th minute before a Reneilwe Letsholonyane equaliser for Chiefs in the 66th minute.
Oupa Manyisa, Happy Jele, Menzi Masuku and Ndoro converted their spot-kicks for Pirates while Chiefs’ recently-appointed skipper Siphiwe Tshabalala, another Warriors’ man Willard Katsande and Bernard Parker converted for Amakhosi.
Pirates kick off their 2015-16 league campaign away to SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium next Tuesday night.
Tomorrow, they host Ajax Cape Town at Orlando in the MTN8 competition which ushers the start of the league.
