CAPE TOWN – Ajax Cape Town’s chief executive officer George Comitis has admitted that midfielder Khama Billiat could be moving to a new club.

Comitis told the SowetanLIVE website that approaches have been received from both Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates and that Ajax are considering them.

“If it happens that the player is happy with the deal and we are happy too, then we might allow the move,” Comitis said.

Comitis said agents had been “talking telephone numbers” to Billiat, which left the player torn between staying where he feels comfortable or moving to richer rewards in Gauteng.

The 22-year-old Zimbabwean has represented the Cape side since 2010, scoring 21 goals in 83 appearances.
