HIT, Discovery Ambulance partner for Buhera medical outreach

Local News

THE Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) recently partnered Discovery Ambulance Services in conducting a medical outreach in Buhera.

The outreach saw hundreds of residents get free ultrasound scans, medical consultations, treatment and medication.

The outreach programme brought essential healthcare services closer to residents, improving access to quality medical care in an underserved area.

Hundreds of people benefited from vital health screenings and professional medical attention, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to enhancing healthcare delivery in marginalized communities.

Speaking on the initiative, Discovery Ambulance Services founder and CEO David Munowenyu emphasised the importance of reaching vulnerable populations with life-saving healthcare services and ensuring that no one is left behind.

“Saving lives and improving health outcomes begins with taking healthcare to the people,” he said.

Through partnerships such as this, Discovery Ambulance Services and HIT hope to inspire youths in Buhera to work hard in order to bridge healthcare gaps and bring hope, healing, and quality medical services to communities that need them most.
