ED affiliate sparks outrage over CAB 3 workshops
NewsDay Staff ·

A ZANU PF affiliate has sparked outrage in the education sector after compelling schools across the country to send representatives to workshops on the proposed Constitutional Amendment No 3 Bill (CAB 3), with participants required to pay a US$50 attendance fee each.
Senior education officials have reportedly been instructed to attend the workshops organised by Teachers for Economic Development (Teachers for ED) in various provinces.
The workshops come at a time when schools across Zimbabwe are grappling with chronic funding shortages, deteriorating infrastructure and staffing challenges.
