TN CyberTech Bank has launched a new ATM service that allows EcoCash customers to perform cash-in and cash-out transactions 24 hours a day, giving users another convenient channel to access mobile money services beyond the traditional agent network.
The service, now available across TN CyberTech ATMs, enables customers to deposit money into their EcoCash wallets or withdraw cash directly from ATMs, including transactions in United States dollars.
“You can now enjoy seamless EcoCash Cash-In and Cash-Out services at all TN CyberTech Bank ATMs, making your transactions faster, safer, and more convenient than ever,” said TN CyberTech.
The development comes as Zimbabwe’s financial services sector increasingly shifts toward automated and digital-first banking solutions aimed at improving convenience, reducing queues, and extending access beyond conventional banking hours.
While the new ATM functionality expands access points for EcoCash users, it is not expected to replace EcoCash’s extensive network of agents and merchants, which remain central to the mobile money platform’s operations across the country. Instead, the ATM integration provides customers with an additional channel for transacting, particularly during periods when agents face cash shortages or high demand.
EcoCash built its dominance in Zimbabwe’s mobile money sector largely through a vast network of agents, small retailers, and informal businesses that provide cash-in and cash-out services in both urban and rural communities. Industry analysts say the addition of ATM-based transactions strengthens the ecosystem by improving service availability and reliability.
For TN CyberTech, the partnership represents more than a convenience feature. Analysts say the integration positions the bank at the intersection of banking and mobile money services, potentially giving it a competitive advantage in attracting digitally active customers.
Every EcoCash user who transacts at a TN CyberTech ATM effectively becomes a potential banking customer, turning the ATM network into a low-cost customer acquisition platform while increasing traffic through the bank’s digital infrastructure.

The rollout also reinforces founder Tawanda Nyambirai’s long-standing vision of TN CyberTech as a technology-driven bank built around digital infrastructure rather than a traditional branch-heavy banking model.
By expanding automated service delivery, the bank could reduce operational costs while offering customers round-the-clock access to financial services.END///
