Skirmishes as Zanu PF chefs fight over funds

FIGHTS over President Emmerson Mnangagwa empowerment funds and donations has torn Manicaland apart amid revelations of manoeuvres to oust Zanu PF provincial chairperson Tawanda Mukodza over alleged misuse of funds. 

A provincial executive committee (PEC) meeting in Mutare yesterday ended abruptly, as skirmishes among rival supporters took centre stage outside the venue. 

There are allegations of embezzlement, corruption and defiance of party authority levelled against Mukodza, whose supporters are arguing that he is being targeted by rivals in a bid to dethrone him.
