Bernard Mizeki pilgrimage roars into life

MORE than 15 000 pilgrims are expected to attend this year’s Anglican Church Bernard Mizeki pilgrimage in the farming town of Marondera this week.

The annual pilgrimage will be held between June 13 and 15 this year, with pilgrims from around Zimbabwe, the southern African region and the world at large expected to attend the event that commemorates the life of the martyr, who died in 1896.

Mizeki was an African Christian missionary and martyr.
