Concert organiser Boss Ringo confirmed to NewsDay Life & Style that Camidoh will arrive today ahead of tomorrow’s concert.

“Preparations for the show have been going well and are at an advanced stage. All is set for Camidoh’s arrival today,” Boss Ringo noted.

“This show is a great boost for tourism in Kariba, a potential tourism (hub), hence the coming in of Camidoh will awaken the sleeping giant. We have partnered tourism players in Kariba to present a total package for the period before and after the gig.”

Boss Ringo said the coming in of Camidoh will create exposure to local artistes who are also set to learn a lot from Camidoh, from stage performance to management.

A background check for Camidoh shows that he was initiated into music by Senegalese-American artiste Akon whom he cites as his musical inspiration and influence.
