Possible hailstorm to sweep across Zimbabwe today

The Meteorological Services Department (MSD) has warned of scattered thunderstorms with possible hailstorms across much of Zimbabwe from today until Thursday. Masvingo, where a hailstorm blew the roofs off thousands of homes three weeks ago, is among the provinces expected to be hit first.

In an advisory issued with the Department of Civil Protection on Monday, the MSD rated the likelihood of the storms as high and their impact as minimal.
