Legislator flags neglected Karoi-Binga Road
Nhau Mangirazi ·

MASHONALAND West proportional representative Mutsa Murombedzi has taken the government to task over the neglected Karoi-Binga Road, adding that public transport operators have deserted the area due to the poor state of the road.
Contributing during the 2027 pre-budget seminar in Bulawayo last week, Murombedzi said the road had the potential to open up the Zambezi Valley and create a tourism corridor from Victoria Falls to Kanyemba, giving remote communities access to investment and economic opportunities. She told Finance minister Mthuli Ncube that only one bus is servicing the route after the rest pulled out.
