Harare sweats over high electricity bill

HARARE City Council(HCC) is sweating over high electricity costs which now account for 56% of water pumping costs

The was revealed in a report presented by consultant engineer Kumbirai Kashangura at a review workshop in the capital over the weekend.

Acting town clerk Warren Sean Chiwawa, who was leading the management in the review, said the team has taken ownership of the findings and is reworking the plan into a practical ,implementation-ready strategy to permanently cut the energy.
