BY TREVOR MUTSVAIRO FORMER Harare Mayor, Herbert Gomba was yesterday further remanded to May 30 in a case in which he is being accused of flouting Electoral Act regulations.

Gomba, who was represented by Garikai Mhishi, appeared before Harare magistrate Tranos Utahwashe for a trial date.

However, the State led by Lancelot Mutsokoti, said the case was still under investigation.

According to court papers, Gomba violated section 37 of the Electoral Act after he allegedly submitted a false address in 2017 during voter registration.
