ALPHA Media Holdings (AMH) editor-in-chief Wisdom Mdzungairi has been elected treasurer of the Zimbabwe Publishers Association (ZPA).
This was after media publishers met in Harare yesterday to elect a committee to represent its interests.
ZPA is chaired by Zimpapers CEO Pikirayi Deketeke, who is deputised by Benson Mbewe, the chief executive officer of AB Communications.
Willie Mponda will be the new secretary-general, while the committee members are Nelson Mashiri, Happiness Zengeni and Virginia Takaona.
Since 2020, the Zimbabwe Association of Publishers has been under an interim committee.
