Highlanders have had an indifferent start to the campaign and head coach Mandla Mpofu has been under pressure following some poor results.
BY FORTUNE MBELE Highlanders have appointed Joel Lupahla as one of the assistant coaches barely 24 hours after he left Northern Region Division One side, Golden Eagles. Eagles announced the departure of Lupahla on Monday and this morning Highlanders have signed the former Warriors forward. Lupahla previously coached Tel One and helped them get promoted to the topflight league. Highlanders have had an indifferent start to the campaign and head coach Mandla Mpofu has been under pressure following some poor results. Meanwhile Ronald Moyo has been appointed substantive chief executive officer at the club. He replaces Nhlanhla Dube who left at the end of last year. Lupahla and Moyo’s appointments were confirmed by club secretary Morgen Dube.
