HARARE International Conference Centre will this afternoon reverberate to the sounds of internationally-acclaimed Nigerian gospel singer Sinach, who makes a return to Zimbabwe for the first leg of her southern African music tour.
The multi-award-winning Sinach is expected to touch down at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport this morning for the It’s Time Live with Sinach concert.
Sinach will be in the country for the third time having performed at Christ Embassy Concert in Harare in 2012 before making a return in 2016 for another performance at the Glamis Arena.
In an interview with NewsDay Life & Style yesterday, one of the concert organisers Yasha Chirisei said the stage was set for the concert to be live-streamed on the Gateway Stream Music Pay-Per-View platform.
“The preparations for the concert have been hectic, late nights and early mornings, but they have been going very well. We are really excited and can’t wait for tomorrow’s (today’s) concert,” he said.
“Our headlining act Sinach will touch down at Robert Mugabe International Airport, Harare, tomorrow (today) morning with Ayo Vincent for the afternoon concert.”
“Some of our supporting acts Mkhululi Bhebhe and Takesure Zama touched down on Saturday morning and afternoon, respectively while South African gospel singer Nthokozo Mbambo will touch down today (yesterday).”
He added: “We are really excited about the combined choir that includes churches across Harare, which is something unique. We are very grateful to all the heads of denominations for supporting us and allowing their members to come in and join this choir which has just been amazing and will perform with Sinach.”
“All our partners have been great in terms of support, for an amazing concert. As of tickets, they have been selling well and we are afraid there will be no more VIP tickets to be sold at the concert as they are almost sold out since they are limited in line with COVID-19 guidelines.”
“The concert prices start at US$25 presale, then we have our US$50 VIP tickets which are again limited. We have our VIP Silver and Gold selling at US$50 and US$100, respectively. The VIP Gold includes a meet and greet with Sinach after the concert as Sinach loves to meet her fans and those who love to worship.”
“The US$250 VIP ticket includes a meet and greet with Sinach at the cocktail. This is a very special ticket as it covers two people, plus an overnight stay at Rainbow Tours for the two.”
Some of the local performers to rub shoulders with Sinach at the concert are Everton Mlalazi, Minister Michael Mahendere, Janet Manyowa and Celebration Choir.
