BY PRIDE MZARABANI GLOW Petroleum yesterday donated braille material, mattresses, and sunscreen lotions worth US$10 000 to students at Henry Murray and Capota School for the Blind in Masvingo.

The complany also pledged to support 10 students from the two institutions with scholarships up to university level.

Speaking on behalf of Glow Petroleum’s managing director Aaron Chinhara, the firm’s legal advisor Nyasha Muzuva said: “As Glow Petroleum, our core corporate social responsibility policies and values are woven around the needs of people, and the value of partnership and frequent engagement in areas of need.

“This is the more reason why we will continuously engage in sustainable value addition initiatives. Glow Petroleum is committed to continuously play a pivotal role in its corporate social responsibility policy in enhancing and improving the lives of those living with disabilities.

“They say disability does not mean inability and as we live each day in such a dynamic world, it is everyone’s responsibility to take care and ensure that those people in marginalised groups are protected from discrimination, and afforded equal opportunities in all spheres of life.”
