State-assisted funeral for Zexie Manatsa

National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) director Nicholas Moyo  confirmed the developments as he delivered the message to the Manatsa family in Harare this afternoon.

BY WINSTONE ANTONIO GOVERNMENT has granted a State-assisted funeral to the late music legend Zexie Manatse  in recognition of his immense contribution to the showbiz industry.

A State-assisted funeral is an honour usually given to provincial heroes and heroines. National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) director Nicholas Moyo  confirmed the developments as he delivered the message to the Manatsa family in Harare this afternoon.

The family welcomed the offer and announced that the late singer will be buried at Warren Hills Cemetery in the capital on Sunday.
