BULAWAYO’S popular poet Sondlane “Sox the Poet” Nyamezela Dube’s will finally launch his poetry documentary this Saturday at the Carne Casa.

The documentary, titled SoxThePoet, aimed at branding himself and churning out more digital content, was initially supposed to be launched in June, but was postponed to October due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In an interview with NewsDay Life & Style, Sithole said the event to screen the documentary will also be used as a platform to re-introduce Sox the Poet to the local and international scene.

“On October 16, we are officially going to be having a screening of SoxThePoet documentary and branding show. We are expecting about 50 guests who will also get a treat performance from Zarae and High Rav at the event,” he said.

The documentary features artists like spoken word poet Thandokuhle “Tinkie Thandoe” Sibanda, Prudence “Delah” Dube, rapper and producer Lynden Lungu, Njabulo “Kimoe” Ndlovu a dancer under the Dynamix Dance Crew, Dlamini, a civic society leader and Memeza Network Hub manager as well as Musongaka Mlalazi the co-host of the Uncommon Sense Podcast.
