WARRIORS defender Teenage Hadebe suffered his first defeat in the US Major League Soccer (MLS) when his side Houston Dynamo lost 3-2 away to Austin at Q2 Stadium on Wednesday night.

It was his fourth Western Conference tie, commanding a first team jersey where he has played 360 minutes for his side.

But it’s not looking good for Houston Dynamo, who last won a match in May as the MLS reported after the match.

“Houston has now gone 10 matches without a win, which has to be concerning for the Dynamo faithful, though they can also take heart in the team not losing its fight despite being down a player for most of the match,” the MLS reported.

Hadebe debuted for Houston Dynamo on July 21 in the 0-0 draw against Vancouver Whitecats away at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Ironically, Vancouver was Houston’s last victory at home in May while Hadebe was still in Turkey playing for Yeni Malatyspor.

His second game was an away draw again against San Jose at Avaya Stadium on July 25 in a match that ended 1-1 before a home goalless draw against Real Salt Lake at BBVA Compass Stadium on Sunday.

That was his first home game before losing away to Austin.

Houston have so far played 17 matches with three wins, nine draws and have lost five, sitting precariously on 11 on the log table, with 18 points just above Austin and Vancouver.
