FORMER Tunga actor, a yesteryear television series, Cliff Taruvinga has spread his wings to motivational speaking.

Taruvinga, who featured in Tunga as Tonderai, told NewsDay Life & Style that acting would now be a part-time career.

“I shifted my focus to motivational speaking in March after discovering that I was also talented in that field. Before taking it to the public, I had developed many skills in it (public speaking),” he said.

“I didn’t turn to motivational speaking because of money. I felt that I was ripe and in March I started recording motivational videos on different topics that include personal development, communication and leadership.”

Taruvinga, a holder of a diploma in journalism and mass communication, said his work, which is available on Facebook page Cliff Motivation and WhatsApp, was themed around his life.

“My message revolves around my life in particular, I walk the talk,” he said. “Being a holder of a journalism and mass communication diploma, I did not experience much difficulty in turning to motivational speaking as I was taught how to communicate effectively.”

Taruvinga said he was happy with how people have reacted to his other talent as evidenced by comments on his social media platforms.

“I, however, need to work harder to attract a huge following on my different social media platforms,” he said.
