Premier Soccer League side Chicken Inn are hoping to earn a lump sum from the potential sale of winger Obrey Chirinda who is on trials at Zambian giants Lusaka Dynamos.

Chirinda is set to complete his 10-day trial stint today before the two parties, Chicken Inn and Lusaka Dynamos, open negotiations for the potential switch for the player.

And the GameCocks are confident that the move will materialise and open their business account for the first time this year, having missed out on Tichaona Chipunza who recently joined ailing Zambian side Nkana as a free agent.

“He is set to complete his trials this week and we also expect to get an offer and negotiations begin, if he did well during the 10 days,” said Chicken Inn secretary-general Tavengwa Hara.

“Of course, we are hoping to benefit on the sale of our player. That should be our first deal of the year since we did not get anything from Tichaona Chipunza who joined Nkana. Clubs must benefit from player transfers, that’s the business part of it.

“That’s our way, we must give our players opportunities to move if they get a chance and we will also benefit in return.”

Lusaka Dynamos is also home to former Dynamos captain Ocean Mushure, who has already established himself as a vital cog in Wedson Nyirenda’s arsenal.

Mushure earned his first medal since joining the club two seasons ago when the Lusaka-based side beat Thabani Kamusoko and Tafadzwa Rusike’s Zesco United in the ABSA Cup final played last weekend.
