A SOUTH African bus company popular for servicing the Harare-Johannesburg route, Greyhound has announced plans to wind up operations with effect from this month.

The company will cease operations on February 14 after a year of disrupted services due to COVID-19, according to a statement issued yesterday.

All people booked beyond that date have been asked to seek refunds.

Greyhound has a good reputation as one of the premium long-distance coach services in southern Africa, with many domestic operations providing comfortable and safe travel.

“Greyhound and Citiliner are closing operations. Services will run until February 14, 2021. Passengers with tickets booked with tickets booked for services after this date will be refunded,” Greyhound tweeted yesterday read.
