Harare City Council (HCC) has warned owners of illegal structures such at tuckshops to pull them down by February 18 before the local authority moves to demolish them.

In a notice on Twitter yesterday, HCC said: “All illegal tuckshop owners across town should stop operations and remove their structures before February 18, 2021. An operation to remove illegal structures is coming soon.”

Council said the operation would target residents that have constructed structures without approval.

HCC also said it would remove illegal structures built inside its Crowborough Farm paddocks.
