Mashonaland Central provincial police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the accidents.
“I can confirm that two juveniles were knocked down by an unknown driver in a hit-and-run accident on Monday night, one of the juveniles died on the spot, while the other is in critical condition,” he said.
“We also have a fatal road accident in Mt Darwin, where a four-year-old boy was killed on the spot while crossing the road.”
Police warned motorists to be vigilant on the road and avoid speeding.
